Teens Unite were overwhelmed to be shortlisted as a finalist in the FSB Hertfordshire Business Awards, so you can imagine their excitement when they walked away from the gala dinner as winners of the Community Business of the Year award and joint winners in the Broxbourne Business of the Year category.
This is a fantastic achievement for Teens Unite who proudly display their awards in the respite centre as recognistion of all their hard work. Teens Unite are a small, dedicated team that love what they do and the young people they support are at the heart of the charity- they are so focussed on supporting them that it takes something like winning the FSB Hertfordshire Business Awards to make them stand back and realise what greatness they are achieving along the way and just how rapidly they are progressing as an organisation.
Vision have already taken part in wares dragon boat race and held a World Cup Fun Day this year to raise money for Teens Unite, with various other events planned such as our corporate golf day and participation in the British 10k Run next month.
