Vision have demonstrated their commitment and ability to reduce printing costs, improve productivity, enhance document security and increase sustainability through the delivery of MPS.
The accreditation illustrates Canon’s on-going commitment and support to its partners via its partner programme. The strength of Canon’s product portfolio, service delivery and independent recognition of its status as a Global Leader in MPS also provides assurance that accredited partners can deliver best-in-class managed services. After putting partners through the rigorous audit process, managed independently by imaging research and consulting firm Photizo, the first European resellers have now received the accreditation.
Introduced to identify and develop Canon’s partners and demonstrate the increasingly high standards of managed print service delivery, technology and customer care, the accreditation provides partners with a competitive edge in a market seeing increasing demand due to its ability to streamline critical business processes.
The process assessed Vision on three key criteria:
- Service delivery & people – demonstration of our ability to meet customer requirements and follow recognised service delivery standards and methods
- Infrastructure & technology – to recognise that Vision clearly describe and document the services we deliver to our customers and the processes followed, as well as having a suite of tools in place to properly manage print on behalf of their customers
- Business model & customer experience – to ensure that the right business metrics and objectives are in place within Vision to ensure on-going investment and development to meet customer requirements, and that there is a way to validate customer’s experience of the managed services delivered by the partner
“We’ve been delighted with the response to our MPS accreditation scheme in the UK and it’s fantastic that our partners here are really looking to take on a more consultative role with their customers.”
says Matthew Searle, Director, Partner Channel, Canon UK.
“MPS is a great way for partners to grow their business and to help their customers control costs and boost employee productivity. Paper and manual processes frequently bridge the gap between incompatible systems but MPS addresses the wider business issue and represents an excellent opportunity for partners. We congratulate all of the partners we’re recognising today for meeting our high standards of accreditation.”
Mark Smyth, Vision’s Operations Director:
“A means of assessing and controlling print output and document processes is becoming increasingly important to our clients who are looking to continuously improve and streamline business workflows. We are delighted to achieve this important status and accreditation and it further backs up our commitment, capability and credentials in providing effective Managed Printing Services in this competitive and growth market. Our sales professionals heavily promote both our long and very loyal partnership with Canon UK and our reseller status. We truly believe this accreditation adds tremendous strength and value to our Managed Print Services proposition.”
