Job Title: Telemarketing
Division: Corporate Sales / Public Sector Sales
Location: Head Office; Hertford
Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Purpose

To provide a consistent and professional approach to all existing and potential clients through the highest standards. Actively contribute to meeting and exceeding appointment targets for the Corporate / Public Sector team.
Deliver support to clients in a friendly, welcoming and courteous manner at all times with the aim of customer satisfaction and long term customer retention.
Build relationships with key, targeted accounts and promote company products and services where ever possible, building strong client relationships that will aid delivery of company targets, growth with increased sales revenue and margins.

Scope of Role

External Clients: Telephone contact with potential and existing Vision clients
Internal Clients: Sales, Service, Sales, Finance, SOP, Logistics and Management
Targets : Corporate: Businesses with between 750 and 5000 staff | Public Sector: Healthcare, HEFE, local and central government
Hours: Working hours 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. On some occurrences working hours will vary and flexibility will be required to ensure business needs, client’s requests and workloads are covered

Key Responsibilities

  • To be proactive with locating and developing new business development
    opportunities via our CRM database, promoting Vision products and services to
    potential Clients
  • Cold | warm calling businesses on our CRM database, build strong client
    relationships, resulting in customer satisfaction and retention
  • Booking an agreed, targeted level of meetings for the Corporate and Public Sector Sales teams
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) include number of calls, talk time and meetings booked
  • Contribute to the growth of the CRM database to ensure key information | leads are recorded
  • Provide a high standard of sales support to meet company targets, expectations, deadlines
  • Work towards and develop best practice at all times

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Telesales experience necessary
  • Industry experience desirable but not necessary
  • Commutable distance of Herford
  • Excellent communications skills at all levels
