Job Purpose
Ensure all logistics tasks are carried out, including both parts/consumables and hardware being procured, booked in or out and shipped. Ensure stock and system accuracy..
Dimensions
1: Internal clients Client Services, Engineers, SOP, Field Service Managers.
2: External Suppliers: Varied Hours will range from 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
1. Filing purchase orders and delivery notes in the appropriate file in numeric order
2. Running stock replenishments for Engineers and Site Stocks
3. Manual handling requirements;
- Heavy lifting involved
- Receive and unpack parcels from delivery companies and matching
4. Receive stock onto system accordingly and arrange dispatch
5. Picking stock required against system job and sales order requirements
6. Liaising with Client Services, Field Service Managers and suppliers in timely manner
7. Dispatching of parcels using computer and label printers
8. Assisting with stock take as and when required, recording all details accurately
9. Raise daily reports to management
10. Raise purchase orders to suppliers, when required
11. Liaising with suppliers to resolve delivery queries
12. Liaising with external warehousing to ensure prompt deliveries
13. Liaising with external carriers to resolve queries in timely manner
14. Carry out any other tasks required by the Management team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Good communications skills.
- Efficient time management to meet company expectations.
- Proficient IT skills, e.g., MS Office and other applications
- Ability to follow set procedures.
- Able to work on own initiative.
