Vision provided a fully managed print and document workflow solution to meet Jupiter's business strategy.

Outcome

Vision rationalised Jupiter's existing fleet of desktop and convenience devices by over 60%, significantly reducing hardware costs. Implementing a consistent device model across 90% of Jupiter's new fleet, Vision's solution ensured easier functionality for users, without the need for complex training programs. Vision also implemented Follow Me Print, providing users with the security and convenience of releasing their documents when they need them, at their chosen device across the organisation. Vision delivered further cost savings and environmental benefits through rules based printing. Documents not released from the device within specified times are deleted, reducing unwanted print costs and paper wastage. The solution is helping to manage printing behaviour across the group and contributes significantly to Jupiter's security and green policies.

Solution Implementation

Flexibility was paramount to Jupiter's choice of supplier and technology. Following a comprehensive audit of the group's printing and document output, Vision worked with Jupiter's project managers to assess and agree the best solution for the business.
